books that every teenager should have read



every teenager should read books for some general understanding about various degrees of life ........etc.etc
here is a list of some must read books....varying from romance to horror.
i am no critic just one of the general readers..........
 1.    kane and abel -   jeffrey archer    
                   
           a great book. it follows the life of two protagonists who  were born on the same day. the story is very powerful and dramatic...Archer's best work.












                      
2.  angels and demons - dan brown

contrary to the popular belief that its anti-christian , the book is more of a good thriller . the plot is just amazing and it is a definite page turner.

this book has a serene soul which captures the imagination and plays with it. the book has a simple narrative and wanders of beautifully.



4. the sea of poppies - amitav ghosh
  a literary feast it is the book which should delight the mature readers. it really has a soul and the language is good.


5. only time will tell - jeffrey archer

the book redefines the art of storytelling and the events are narrated through different narrators.the book's climax is the most engaging and highlighted part of the book.






                                                                                                                                               
 6. revolution 2020 - chetan bhagat
  the rare chetan bhagat book which starts well and ends well. the book is made up of a sensible story and spiced well with an appreciable language.















                             



7.the whitetiger - aravind adiga
 winner of the man booker prize 2008 , this book captures a rare realism...and converts it into a compelling story. the story is about a boy who becomes a driver in urban delhi.

8. hart's war - john katzenbach
one of the best stories set in the world war II era. the story is about tommy hart who saves a black airman scott from murder charges.





                                                                                                                                                                                      

9.midnight's children - salman rushdie
one of the best books published in the 20th century , it continues to amaze you.every teenager should read this book at the least once.











 10. harry potter series - j.k. rowling      
there is a general belief that this book is   for tbabies. but it is not tru this book can be enjoyed by even a teenager, and i recommend that u read this book before coming off age
                                              
                               








11.if tomorrow comes - sidney sheldon.

grips to your hand with ease. A sweet delight for every kind of readers clinging from fiction to non-fiction readers. Soothes your eyes with words.
